Murals and Modern Art
Amanda’s love of creating murals came from her experience of working her way around Australia by trading murals for food and board. Ever since then she has created bright, bold paintings for schools, nurseries, gardens, children’s bedrooms and more. She has also taken several modern art commissions.

About Amanda
Amanda was born in Surrey in the UK and with two grandmothers who were successful artists, she has always enjoyed painting and drawing. She studied French at Lampeter University, Wales and then went on to complete a PGCE at Oxford University after which she travelled and taught in the UK, Australia and Mexico. She now lives in the beautiful World Heritage town of Baeza in Andalusia with her Spanish husband Martin and their two children, Martin and Paloma, where she has studied with realist painter Antonio Moreno since 2012. She currently teaches and runs a highly successful language school, examines for Cambridge University and paints in her art studio. As you can see from her paintings, she also has two beagles, Maggie and Poppy.
SOBRE AMANDA
Amanda nació en Surrey, Gran Bretaña. Sus dos abuelas pintoras fueron una gran inspiración y siempre ha gustado pintar y dibujar desde muy pequeña. Ha estudiado filología francesa en la Universidad de Lampeter, Gales y luego completó su posgrado en educación en la Universidad de Oxford y después trabajó como profesora en el Reino Unido, Francia, Australia y México. Desde 2006 vive en Baeza, España, con su marido Martín y sus dos hijos, Martín y Paloma, donde ha estudiado con el pintor realista, Antonio Moreno desde 2012. Trabaja y dirige una exitosa escuela de idiomas, examina para la Universidad de Cambridge y pinta en su estudio de arte. Como puedes apreciar en sus cuadros, tiene dos perras, Maggie y Poppy.
